YOU DON’T HAVE TO BE ME TO WORK HERE, BUT IT HELPS.

I’ve spent over 20 years strutting my stuff across both client-side and agency-side roles, working on everything from terrifyingly large household-name brands your nan would recognise, to smaller, scrappier businesses where I really get my kicks.

Along the way, I’ve worked across FMCG, ecommerce, retail, gifting, subscription, lifestyle and B2B. Big launches, turnarounds, periods of decline, and proper growth phases. I’ve seen what works, what breaks, and what usually gets overcomplicated.

I’ve also done my time in big corporates. In-house roles, suits and ties, and the occasional awkward backslap from a proper Train Guy type (Bob Mortimer would know the sort). It never really buttered my baps. I’ve always been drawn to the plucky underdogs, where the work’s more interesting and you can actually make a difference. Have a capu-choo-choo on me.

A few years ago, I landed my dream marketing shindig at Snaffling Pig. I fell hard for the brand and the role, working with a ragtag crew of meat-hawking hustlers who made work fun again.

For the first time, I was genuinely passionate about the product I was selling. I lived and breathed the brand, its personality and its tone. It felt like home. I’d found my tribe. All vibes. Pork vibes.

I was also, for a brief but glorious moment, voted 4th most attractive man in Pork Scratchings (South East region) in April 2021. A career highlight, obviously.

Since then, I’ve helped brands turn things around and scale properly. That’s meant doubling direct-to-consumer revenue in months rather than years, lifting conversion rates by multiples, growing online sales by 45–55% year on year after long periods of decline, delivering consistent 30% monthly YoY growth, and nearly doubling attributable inbound enquiries for businesses where leads, not checkouts, are the commercial lifeblood.

None of that comes from silver bullets or quick hacks. It comes from experience, solid fundamentals, and making sure everything works together: website, email, ads, data and decisions.
